Roofing in Greenville, TX

Greenville is the Hunt County seat, west of Sulphur Springs on the I-30 corridor toward Dallas. The housing mix is wider than in the smaller towns around it. There are mid-century brick ranches, older houses closer to the center, and newer construction as the corridor has grown. Some roofs are the original asphalt on a low-pitch ranch. Others are on two-story houses with more valleys, more pipe boots, and a deck that was dried in with synthetic underlayment not that many years ago. Those are two different inspections.

Storms that build over North Texas often drop hail as they move along I-30. Greenville sits in that path. A hailstorm can bruise a roof that still looks even from the yard, especially on the west and south slopes that face the weather. Wind gets under lifted tabs and peels them back. On a newer house the damage may be limited to soft metal at the vents and a few cracked shingles. On a twenty-year ranch roof the same storm can be the end of a surface that was already drying out in the Texas sun. Humidity after the rain finds any opening the hail made.

Pacheco Roofing handles new roofs, tear-offs, overlays, and metal for Greenville homeowners. A newer house with one sound layer may be a candidate for an overlay, and we will only offer that when the deck deserves it. An older ranch with curled shingles, stained decking, or a patched valley needs a tear-off so the new roof starts on clean wood. Metal is worth a look on houses that have already been through more than one asphalt roof and on outbuildings that are part of the home place. We do not treat a Greenville job as a Dallas drive-by. We come from Sulphur Springs, look at the roof in person, and tell you what it actually needs.

Estimates are free. Every residential job includes a 2-year warranty, and we do not add fine print about what that word is supposed to mean beyond the warranty itself. Call or text 903-348-7733, or request the visit from the estimate form. If your house is on the Greenville side of Hunt County or farther west, call about that location too. We travel and work anywhere.

The kind of roofs we install
