Roofing in Commerce, TX

Commerce is in Hunt County, south of Sulphur Springs, and it is a college town. Texas A&M University-Commerce sits in the middle of neighborhoods that are not all the same kind of house. There are family ranches and brick homes whose owners have been on the same street for years. Closer to campus there are houses that have been rented, patched, and reroofed on a budget by more than one landlord. A roof over a family kitchen and a roof over a rental can fail in the same storm. They do not always get the same maintenance in between.

Hunt County gets the hail and wind that cross this part of Northeast Texas, and Commerce is not off to the side of that. A spring storm can crack pipe boots, dent vents, and granulate a slope that still looks orderly from the sidewalk. On a rental, those marks sometimes sit for a season because nobody is up there after the weather passes. Sun then curls the damaged tabs. On an owner-occupied ranch, the same hail is usually the moment someone calls, which is the better time: the deck has not been wet all summer. Either way, the repair question is whether the surface can stay or whether water has already reached the wood.

We roof homes in Commerce with new roofs, tear-offs, overlays, and metal. If you own the house you live in, we will show you the difference between a worn-out single layer and a roof that has been covered once already. Landlords get the same explanation. An overlay on top of a soft deck is not a bargain, because the next leak is a ceiling in somebody's room. A tear-off costs more up front and leaves you with a deck you can trust. Metal is an option when you want off the cycle of asphalt on a house that has already been reroofed twice.

Pacheco Roofing is based in Sulphur Springs, a short drive north of Commerce. If the property is outside town, we still want the call. We travel and work anywhere, and we would rather hear the location from you than have you guess whether it is too far.
